A 7-way cable is the cable that runs from your tow vehicle to the Airstream which transmits braking and turning signals between the two. Each time you hitch your tow vehicle you'll need to plug in the 7-way plug and confirm that your travel trailer lights and brake lights are working properly. 7-way Junction Box is located behind battery box on the wall. I have attached a diagram that I have made (which you will probably need to zoom in to see the details of) to show my plan for the 7-way trailer side plug -> the 7-way junction box on the chassis -> the lights, brakes, and breakaway switch.
