Looking for sheet metal stamping locations on my 69. These were pretty easy to find on my 68 but not having any luck on the 69. Build date is October 1969. I am thinking the repaint that was done by previous owner may have inadvertently filled these, or they are different locations than a 68. Just need to know where to look on each part. I regularly see adds for a "Camaro front clip" for sale, though some say that's the subframe and suspension while others think its the sheet metal above it. Either way you can call and ask and will often find a good deal on original sheet metal, They are often the same cost (once repaired) as buying brand new aftermarket.

Domingo I would try and repair as much OEM metal as possible. All of the replacement metal needs help to fit. When term "massaging" new parts is used it refers to prying, pounding on with board and hammering cutting and rewelding.
