Unofficial Ant CNC . Contribute to thejobbitt/Ant-CNC development by .Hi, I am new to the project and at the moment having a hard time sourcing some parts. I see that for the Z axis motor there is a NEMA8 alternative suggested, But I cannot find the 2632 .

A single Turnigy 2632 1000 kV outrunner brushless motor is used for the spindle head, which is controlled by an ECS, while the bipolar series use regular motor drivers. An STM32-based microcontroller runs the show, and most of the CNC mill use 3D .
This video series shows how to build The Ant CNC, a compact CNC designed to be affordable, to be assembled by every hobbiyst with 3D printed pieces and other. In the beta developments I found 3d printed parts which I think allow to have a nema8 as replacement for the Z axis motor. What about the spindle and the motor speed controller? Are there any similar ones that I could use? Posted by u/WaffleCircuits - 2 votes and 4 comments
Ant PCB Maker (modifications): I've been seeking my personal holy grail of one-off home PCB manufacturing for a while - sounds simple but it's surprisingly not. I've tried stripboard, protoboard, PCB transfers, laser toner transfer and UV exposure - not one of these has been a gr.
But what if a CNC machine could be small enough to fit on a desk without getting in the way, yet still be useful enough to make single- and double-sided PCBs?Unfortunately, from the start, we expect that for the first few weeks or months, you will also have to get parts manufactured on your own. CNC design files are available here . There are online services such as JLCPCB or PCBWAY which can make the parts. This is a place to store the information I gather while building the Ant CNC. I am looking to install an outdoor receptacle on vinyl siding. My house has a basement and the vinyl siding on the outside covers the rim joist that is on top of the basement foundation wall. I figure I can just drill through the rim joist and siding, say with a 1/2" or 3/4" spade bit and surface-mount an electrical box on a vinyl siding block.
